Due to system maintenance, the International Society will not be taking online payments between 9:00 am on Tuesday 25th July 2017 and 9:00 am on Tuesday 1st August 2017 (one week). Over this period you will still be able to come in and register in our office. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Please note that there are two pick-up points for every International Society trip. The main pick-up point is the International Society building; the coaches park where Dover Street meets Oxford Road. This pick-up takes place at the time stated on the website and on your ticket. The coach also picks up from The University of Salford's Maxwell building. This pick-up takes place 30 minutes before the time stated on the website and on your ticket.

Liverpool at Christmas

Voted the 4th friendliest city in the world, you will receive a warm welcome in Liverpool this Christmas time. It is a magical place to visit: shopping for a special gift at Liverpool one or taking in the festive atmosphere at the Albert Dock area! Liverpool has lots to offer!

The Lake District at Christmas (with optional transfer to Keswick Victorian Fayre)

The Lake District is an area of outstanding natural beauty.  The day will be spent in Bowness-on-Windermere, a great base for walking, taking a boat ride or simply relaxing and taking in the amazing views of the Lake! If you prefer, the coach will transfer those who wish to Keswick in the North Lakes where today the Victorian Christmas Fayre is taking place.

Lincoln is one of England’s most beautiful Cathedral cities.  On the day of the trip, there is a Christmas market …Europe’s biggest … stalls with Christmas gifts, choirs singing carols, street entertainment and the smell of chestnuts roasting and mulled wine all in the setting of a picturesque cobbled square overlooked by a floodlit 12th Century cathedral! A perfect experience for those who look forward to the arrival of Christmas!

Peak District visiting Buxton and Castleton at Christmas (with visit to Peak Cavern)

The Peak District National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty. Today, you will visit the pretty spa town of Buxton with its Christmas Fair in the beautiful Pavillion Gardens in the centre of town. Then onto Castleton for the second stop of the day, one of the most beautifully lit villages in the Peak District at this time of year particularly the stunningly lit Peveril Castle.  You will also have the chance to visit one of the many caves in the area … Peak Cavern, well known for having the largest entrance to any cave in Britain and time to spend relaxing in Castleton itself. Father Christmas will be available for a visit too!
