Please note that there are two pick-up points for every International Society trip. The main pick-up point is the International Society building; the coaches park where Dover Street meets Oxford Road. This pick-up takes place at the time stated on the website and on your ticket. The coach also picks up from The University of Salford's Maxwell building. This pick-up takes place 30 minutes before the time stated on the website and on your ticket.

North Wales visiting the Ffestiniog Railway and Portmeirion Village

North Wales is a beautiful area of contrasting landscapes. On this particular trip you will pass through the Snowdonia area with fantastic scenery aboard the famous Blaenau Ffestiniog Railway. From here you travel on to Portmeirion Village, an interesting Italianate village in a picturesque location. You will have several hours here to explore the village, the woodland gardens and the coast!

On arrival in the city, there will be a guided coach tour of Liverpool’s main sites … including the Albert Dock area, the two Cathedrals and the places where the Beatles lived and played music! You will then have the afternoon free to spend as you please, perhaps sightseeing or shopping! Liverpool has lots to offer!

North Lake District - Keswick (with optional trip to Whinlatter Forest Park)

Keswick is a pretty market town in North Cumbria with lots to do whether it be a boat ride on the Derwent Water or exploring the town’s many shops and museums.  Saturday is also market day! Keswick is also a perfect base for a day’s walking in the countryside.   One particular beautiful walk is that to Castlerigg Stone Circle just outside Keswick! Today, you have the option of also going to Whinlatter Forest Park… England’s only true mountain forest park !  An excellent trip for those who enjoy the beautiful scenery on offer in the countryside!

Chester Christmas market and Cheshire Oaks Retail Outlet

Chester is a picturesque, historic town and has some beautiful tourist attractions to visit such as the Cathedral and the Roman Walls. The Christmas market will be taking place today in the town centre with its many craft and food and drink stalls for you to explore. The second stop of the day will be Cheshire Oaks retail outlet village – here you can shop at a lot cheaper prices than city centre shops for many great branded goods!

Tatton Park at Christmas (with Santa at the Farm for children)

Tatton Park is located in 1,000 acres of the most beautiful deer park.  You have chance to visit the Mansion, Gardens and Farm with your totally Tatton ticket included in the price of the trip.
