The International Society has many volunteers each year who actively get involved and help out with our activities. We are always looking for new volunteers for our events, class teachers and trip leaders.

If you are interested to be a volunteer, please feel free to apply.  As we do get a high number of applicants, we may not be able to accomodate everyone that applies.

Hospitality Scheme

The hospitality scheme arranges for students to visit a British home to experience something of the diversity of British life. Once paired with a family, students are invited to the home to share in a meal, perhaps Sunday lunch, afternoon tea or even a day trip out with the family.

this scheme is only for members

Families group

Come along and meet families, children and babies from all over the world. The group – made up of families from all over the world – meets on Thursdays from 4pm and is great way for people in a similar situation to meet and make friends.

There is a selection of toys and children’s books available for all to play with, as well as organised activities and tea and biscuits.

For those still learning English, it’s a great place to practice in a supportive and caring environment.

NEXT: Halloween Party on 28th November 2021 4pm.
